  Why Korea? Korea is a fully developed country with a thriving economy. It is one of the most internet enabled countries in the
  whole world with telecommunications infrastructure that is already 5 years ahead of the U.S.  Lots of people who teach English
  go to the more famous China or Japan but soon find out that the facilities aren't available, or that the salary doesn't stretch far
  enough.
  However in Korea, the facilities are abound and the money is extremely generous in terms of cost of living. Saving money on a
  monthly basis is also quite easy to do.  If you are interested please read the requirements below. 


 What's the offer?

  A very good question! The standard offer that we negotiate for you (although there is some scope for variance) is as follows:

  • 1 year contract of employment in South Korea.
  • The salary offered is negotiable but usually within the 1.8-2.5 million Won -(about USD$1,800 - 2,500) per month.
  • A rent free apartment with basic furnishings.
  • Free round-trip airfare.
  • 50% medical insurance.
  • 1 month bonus salary (severance pay) upon the completion of your contract.
  • Perks offered individually by the various schools.
  • Paid vacations and national holidays.
  • Low income tax (only 5%).

 

 Am I Eligible?

  You have to be all of the following:

·        Need to be a citizen of one of the following countries: USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa*.

·        Need to have completed a 3-4 year Bachelors degree at a university in any of the above countries*.

·        No criminal record other than of minor parking offences, etc.

       ** These are legal requirements of Korean Immigrations Law

      ·        A sense of fun, adventure and adaptability!

**This is not a legal requirement, but it's required to live and experience the exciting life style in Korea!
